Dr. Selcan Kara was born in 1978 in Ashak Province in Turkey. After completing her primary and intermediate education in different cities, she graduated from Ashak Anatolian Secondary School, and in 2002 she graduated from Hacettepaşa University Faculty of Medicine from the English Department of Medicine, and completed her specialized education between Years 2003-2010 in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Pamukkale University,

She was employed in the neurorehabilitation department at the Rehabilitation and Care Center of the Turkish Armed Forces in March, April and May of 2005, and after completing her state service commitment at Denizli State Hospital between 2010 and 2012, she worked as a doctor in various centers between 2012. -2018.
